The age of transparency is upon us! It was last week as well but the Panama Papers are a notable milestone right now. Although the Occupy organiser writer of this article below sees previous protests and leaks failed, I see them as progress. If we look at it from a consciousness point of view, each event opened the eyes of more people in the world.
Rather than just accepting the status quo, the populace turned their attention on these people and policies. Then they started to ask more questions, started to talk about it with each other. The unseen energy behind this was very powerful in getting the ball rolling towards more inspired investigation and finding the right time to having it all exposed.

Future leaks
From here forward I expect there will be more to expose that has been ready for a while, it’s just that the exposers didn’t want “chaos” to reign. The Panama Papers are our training ground in learning to accept the truth and finding a reaction that doesn’t harm ourselves or others around us. As bigger leaks are opened to the public we will get more used to managing ourselves. Then we can focus on accountability, consequences and just getting on with fixing the problems. These may be in the areas of bribery, corruption, mass murder, profiteering, UFO knowledge, pharmaceutical companies, insurance… there’s plenty to clean up.

Lead us not into temptation…
With new transparency and the threat of leaks, those who want to take advantage will be less likely to do it in future so it influences leaders – and in effect, every one at every level – to be more open and honest about their transactions.

Guilty Americans?
I have to say I find it fascinating that these initial press releases are not implicating any Americans, only Europeans, South Americans, the Middle East and Asia. You can bet there will be BIG American names in those files as well and, as the reporting of news has now spread much wider via the internet than the traditional monopolised controlled press, those who are NOT named by the press will be the ones you can clearly see have links to the press themselves.

World shift in Global Laws
Obama’s comments here are the big picture solution the world is looking for. Sure thing, go and punish the law firm but, if much of what they were doing was lawful then you’ve got to start addressing the laws that have been in place for so long to allow companies and individuals to take advantage. We’ve all known about them all this time and yet politicians never “fix” it. Now is the time!
There is opportunity here for global tax reform which will include every country – at least until they start stashing money off the planet. There is also opportunity for countries to start talking to each other more and deciding what is most useful for the betterment of the human population as a single species. This is big stuff.
I continue to watch with curiosity.
